My most recent Netflixin’ guilty pleasure binge has been Bravo’s Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce. I slowly developed an interest watching the first few episodes and then, before I knew it, I was hook, line and sinker. I became invested in the characters, wanting to know about their lives and what was happening with each of them. On more than one occasion during an episode, I had tears in my eyes. (I’m a sucker.) Here are some of my favorite quotes from the show:
“I don’t know how many Kate Hudson movies you all watched last night, but folks don’t actually run around saving people and magically getting back together.”
“I don’t want to live with you, but I do want to die with you.”
“No matter what happens, we’re family.”
“Nobody truly interesting is universally liked.”
“Try harder because its okay to have weak moments. You’ll pick yourself back up tomorrow.”
“Carbe Diem.” (Side note: I have most definitely been living by this motto lately. I don’t know who I think I am. I really need a vegetable in my life.)
I’m already looking forward to Season 3 which debuts in January. Anyone have any good Netflix recommendations?
